Techshot Lighting, LLC is proud to introduce an efficient, high performance LED-based SLS system targeted specifically for soft-walled shelters. Techshot Lighting has been working with the Department of Defense developing energy efficient, solid state Shelter Lighting Systems (SLS). The goal has been to produce user-friendly and efficient SLS systems that are physically and electrically robust operating for up to 100,000 hours in the field while producing an output equal to or greater than the current fluorescent system used in soft-walled shelters today.
Techshot Lighting's patent pending SLS design has half or better the life-cycle cost of typical tent lighting systems while producing a superior true white light. The SLS can handle the toughest assignments any place ? anywhere in the world.
Unique to the Techshot Lighting SLS is the ability to plug straight into a standard 110 AC outlet and provide normal white light or as required, immediately go to blackout blue light - at the flip of the switch - No AC/DC converters required. Up to 20 strands can be connected together from a single outlet.
The Techshot Lighting LED-based SLS system outperforms old fluorescent tube lighting systems in every way. Using less energy, the system produces twice the light output of traditional technology. Plus, regardless of the weather this LED-based system provides instant flicker-free task lighting at a flick of the switch.
The baseline Techshot Lighting SLS configuration accommodates those tents having 8?-10? on-center modules such as the TEMPER tent and other like systems. Other configurations such as 5? and 10?5? on-center module configurations are also available.
