Under a conctract with the US Army, we designed, developed and manufactured a man-portable AC/DC energy harvesting smart battery charger. The smart battery charger is small, lightweight, rugged and efficient and is designed to be carried by the soldier into combat missions. 

 

The multi-purpose chargers operate from a variety of power sources including: photovoltaic, automotive electrical systems, primary (non-rechargeable) batteries, fuel cells, and AC power.  They may be daisy-chained together to charge up to 10 smart batteries from a single power source.  And the Techshot smart battery charger can charge virtually any smart battery, independent of the type of battery chemistry.
