Indianapolis-based AlGalCo hired Techshot to develop an electricity generation system, which is powered with hydrogen it produces on demand by combining an aluminum alloy with water.

Techshot automated the gas creation process, discovered by Dr. Jerry Woodall at Purdue University. It also developed a safe and reliable system for providing the hydrogen to fuel cells and, as in the current prototype, an otto-cycle internal combustion engine.
